I have never played or coached professional basketball.

I lived in Milwaukee at the same time another Don Nelson, a former Boston Celtic, was coaching the Milwaukee Bucks. More than once, I made a restaurant reservation or haircut appointment only to show up and disappoint the hostess or stylist when they saw I wasn't that Don Nelson.

I just wanted to get that out of the way before we meet in person and you, too, are crestfallen.

On a positive note, I have a great deal of experience working on a great many things, as both a copywriter and creative director. I have had the good fortune to work for some excellent agencies and interesting clients, and I believe I have returned the favor by creating and/or overseeing strong work that has helped to define brands and make them more relevant to the intended audiences.
